The Moonlight.

I rejoice like them,
I laugh like them,
I speak like them,
But I'm not of them.

I'm the brightness you look forward to when it's getting dark,
I'm transparent, but you don't know what I'm made of.
I give room for the sun in the day,
I'm patient. Yes I am
I live so far yet I reflect as though I'm near
It's my gift to lighten dark corners.
It's my strength after all.

When I come, I come with my friends named stars.
We are far above
We are mysterious.
We are larger than life.
